How to start a Madden 24 fantasy draft
To start a Madden 24 fantasy draft, you have to load up the game in franchise mode out of the main menu. Start a new league. This can’t be done to an existing franchise. You can choose your team, but remember that it won’t have any of its original players, so perhaps choose based on the uniforms or location. It’s your own NFL universe, so choose whoever you want.
It will ask you what rosters to use in league settings. Use current active rosters. Then, select the draft option. This will allow you to start every single Madden NFL team from scratch, but you can only choose the options for one team for the rest of the draft. The QB, WRs, TE, RB, and more can only be picked for your own team off the draft board. This is how you could get Josh Allen on the Carolina Panthers or Travis Kelce on the Green Bay Packers.
From offense to defense and special teams, you’re responsible for drafting every single position. All 53 players on the active roster are yours to choose, so this is a bit of a time commitment. The Madden 24 fantasy draft order is random, so you may have to start over if you don’t like where you’re picking. It can be a snake draft or standard, but if you’re picking 30th, there’s not a lot of opportunities to get the best players.

Players like Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Stefon Diggs, Davante Adams, Dak Prescott, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, and other star names might not be available to you, so you might have to leave and start over until you get the desired pick. Picking later in the first round might leave you with a 91 OVR tight end as your most elite player, and the CPU teams with more valuable players.
This can be done as a multiplayer connected franchise. Online fantasy drafts have to be done with the person online as well so they have a chance. You can’t start fantasy draft with other players if they’re not available. In this scenario, it might be easier to go with your random position since it’s never going to be totally fair with multiple players.
