Vampire co-op shooter Redfall is almost upon us, and many prospective players are wondering the answer to the question is Redfall on Game Pass?

Since Bethesda parent company Zenimax was purchased by Microsoft a few years ago, it’s meant that games like Redfall are not available on PlayStation consoles. However, the good news is that – under the Microsoft umbrella – the chances of them coming to Xbox Game Pass are much greater. And following Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo’s Game Pass debuts, Redfall looks set to join that collection and be available for no extra cost to subscribers.

Here’s what you need to know if you’re considering getting Redfall on Game Pass.

Is Redfall on Game Pass?

Yes, Redfall will be available on Game Pass from its launch on May 2, 2023. Furthermore, the game will be available on the service in both its console form – on Xbox Series X|S and via the PC Game Pass service for those playing on the PC.

It’s certainly going to make it easier to find chums to play with thanks to this news. With the game available as part of a Game Pass subscription, many players will be able to pick it up on launch and give it a go as they’re already subscribed without having to fork out an additional cost to buy the game seperately.

It’s also been confirmed that the game will be available via the Xbox Game Pass Cloud Gaming service, so as long as you’re an Ultimate subscriber you’ll even be able to play on a mobile device, or PC without having to download anything, as long as you have an appropriate controller connected.

Of course if you’re intending to play the game on PC you’d better make sure your rig meets the Redfall system requirements. However, those on console may be disappointed as the game won’t support 60FPS there at launch. Redfall launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2, 2023.
