How Long to Beat Dead Space Remake

How Long Is the Dead Space Remake

After sampling everything EA Motive Studio’s ground-up remake has to offer, we can report that from start to finish, Dead Space Remake takes roughly 12 hours to beat. Each chapter takes on average 1 hour to beat and there are 12 chapters in total. The remake takes almost exactly the same time to beat as the original 2008 version.

The length can vary based on several factors. Higher difficulty levels with scarce resources, limited ammo, and more formidable enemies tend to extend the playtime by a few hours, though this depends entirely on the player’s skill level.

If you want to explore every nook and cranny of the USG Ishimura, loot every room and container along the way, and complete every side quest, beating Dead Space can take up to 20 hours.

As for trophy hunters and 100% completionists, expect to invest up to 30 hours as ticking off all achievements requires multiple playthroughs, including on higher difficulty settings.
