There are 22 titles in Helldivers 2, earned by leveling up. Arrowhead Game Studios introduced new titles when they raised the level cap, up from 12 titles before the 01.000.200 patch. One of them is limited to the Super Citizen version of the game, aptly called “Super Citizen.” The other titles are unlocked every five or ten levels. How to change your title in Helldivers 2?
Your title can only be changed on your Destroyer ship. Head over to the Armory, open the Character tab, and pick Title. Here, you will be able to see all the titles you’ve earned and you can pick from them. Pick one and press Equip to show this off to friends and randoms. Note that these don’t influence gameplay as Terminids and Automatons will challenge you either way.
So, are new titles worth it in Helldivers 2?
Leveling up fast in Helldivers 2 will let you unlock more of them. Working your way to the max level cap in Helldivers 2 will also help you get other resources like Medals, Super Credits, and Samples. These are essential to getting the best gear and stratagems to liberate planets. So while you might not have to work towards specific ranks, you’ll earn them as you grind through the game for XP.
