Damage players with a fully modded weapon

  • You can modify most of the weapons at Mod Benches
  • Weapon mods require you to spend Gold Bars
  • Most of the weapons already have a couple of mods

A fresh batch of Fortnite weekly quests was just released! By completing the entire set, you can gain a couple of levels to unlock more Battle Pass rewards. One of these quests requires you to damage players with a fully modded weapon, which can be quite tricky, especially if you are a new player.

Our detailed guide will explain how you can complete this new Fortnite quest. However, keep in mind that we are in the eighth week of the season, meaning that this quest will expire in less than a month.

Epic Games introduced weapon mods with the release of Fortnite Chapter 5. Each weapon comes with at least one mod, and the higher the rarity of the weapon, the more mods it has. Fortunately, even if your weapon has no decent mods, you can use Mod Benches to further customize your loadout.

Before you can damage players with a fully modded weapon in Fortnite, you first need to either pick up such a weapon or mod it yourself. If you choose the second option, you will have to head over to one of the Mod Bench locations on the island. Once you find a bench, interact with it and modify your weapon. We advise you to fully mod a couple of different weapons, as you may need to use all of them to complete the quest.

To fully mod a weapon, you need to add an attachment to all four categories: Optics, Magazine, Barrel, and Underbarrel. Each mod costs, so make sure to bring Gold Bars before you attempt to complete this challenge.

Once you have a fully modded weapon in your Fortnite inventory, you will need to use it to damage players. Due to this, you should have at least one fully modded assault rifle, a shotgun, and either a sniper or a marksman rifle. Doing this, you will make sure that you have a weapon capable of hitting enemies from every range.

To complete the new weekly quest, you need to deal 800 damage to players in total. You can easily complete this quest in a single match, especially if you play Duos, Trios, or Squads. Each player has a health pool of 200 to 250 HP, depending on the mode you play. This means that you can deal up to 250 damage to players, and then an additional 100 HP when they are knocked down. Furthermore, if you hit an enemy for 230 damage and then snipe them for 110, this will count as 340 damage for the challenge.

If you struggle to complete this Fortnite quest, you should try out Team Rumble. This game mode mostly has casual players and it features respawns. Due to this, you can deal damage without having to worry about dying and going back to the lobby. Additionally, you may be interested in joining Fortnite bot lobbies to complete the quest even faster.

By completing this quest, you will get 10,000 Season XP. If you need help with the other quests this week, check out our guide on how to collect weapons at Summit Temple. You will also need to jam at Restored Reels’ stage and Slumberyard’s dance floor for an extra XP.
