Are you wondering the Fortnite bunker mod bench locations? Then you have come to the right place! The new season has introduced several new POIs and changed some of the game. With Society vaults gone from the game, there has to be another way to upgrade your gear and add the correct modifications to your weapons in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2. Fortunately, they’re not that hard to find. Here’s what you need to know.
Fortnite weapon bunkers location
Presently, there are nine different weapons bunkers with a mod bench inside on the new map. Don’t bother going to Snooty Steppes, Lavish Lair, or Grand Glacier to try and unlock the vault. It’s not there and doesn’t have what you’re looking for.
Weapons bunker locations
The first weapons bunker is almost directly in front of Mount Olympus. Land there and follow the path out and you’ll see it right there.
If you head north from there past the railroad tracks, you will start nearing the snow. Just before the ground turns white, there’s another weapons bunker.
From here, continue up until you do pass out of this biome. You will get to a point with a river where the snow is encroaching. Here’s where the bunker is.
From here, you can turn to the west and go that way towards Lavish Lair. You will get to a third bunker that is right beside the front of that POI. You can see the house in the background of the bunker’s location.
Continue to the west, going past Lavish Lair. There’s a gas station nearby. To the northwest (slightly), there is another weapon mod bench in a bunker. This is just before the River Styx.
The fifth bunker on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 map is right near Grim Gate, a brand new POI. Head to the entrance of the POI and then go past it and to the southwest a little but. It’s right near one of the curves in the River Styx.
Another bunker is nearby. This one’s up by the Underworld. Epic Games dropped this one by their new POI that has plenty of action usually. It’s to the southwest of the POI, pretty close to the ocean.
There is another weapons bunker location near Pleasant Piazza. It’s pretty much directly to the south of the POI. Head down from the “A” in Pleasant and you will find the bunker tucked away beside a massive tree.
The last available bunker on the map is found in near Fencing Fields. You can go to the southwest from the POI and find it near the windmill landmark.
These bunkers usually have Level 2 chests, weapons crates, and the ever-so sought after modification bench. Here, you can put the scopes you like on your weapons. Remember that old vault locations, like Reckless Railways, do not have medallions or mod benches.
How to get into Fortnite bunker mod bench
Getting into the new bunkers is not so simple. As you saw in many of the photos above, the bunkers were closed. Some of them had chains around them. Those can’t be broken, nor can the door to get inside. The chest sound effects will haunt you until the bunker is open. Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do to open them.
They open after three storm circles, so you will have to both be a bit lucky with zone and you’ll have to survive that long. In battle royale matches, this usually takes under 10 minutes. When the third storm circle closes, the bunkers open! Look out for an icon on the screen telling you there’s a Fortnite bunker mod bench opening nearby.

I encountered someone camping a bunker by building a fortress around it and waiting until then. They’re probably upset that we traded eliminations and no one was going to open the bunker, but they did show one strategy for getting into the bunker. All of them require patience, though.
