How to get Yuffie to join your party in FF7 Rebirth

To get Yuffie in FF7 Rebirth, reach the Costa Del Sol during Chapter 6 Fool’s Paradise, push on through the story until the end of the Chapter and you’ll be given the option to let Yuffie join your party. Chapter 6 is chiefly a series of mini games you’ll need to get through to get companion cards, which you can then exchange for swimwear needed access the beach. They are as follows:

Cloud mini-games – Beach Boys

• Pirate’s Rampage – Get a score of at least 10,000 in the pirate-themed shooting gallery.
• Card Carnival – Win all three Queen’s Blood challenges. We have all the puzzle solutions should you need them.

Tifa and Aerith mini-games – Fun While It Lasts

• Run Wild – Win the free-for-all ball game as Red XIII.
• Royal Coast Concert – Complete the piano mini-game in the resort hotel.
• Wheelie Rendezvous – Find all the yellow, blue, and red wheelies and bring them back to their stations around Costa Del Sol.
• Cactuar Caper – Find all four Cactuar around Costa Del Sol.

Swap into swimwear at one of the changing stations, first as Cloud then as Tifa and Aerith, then head down to the beach. Get through the Hojo cutscene then take on the Grasptropod boss. Yuffie will jump in halfway through to save the day.

After defeating Grasptropod, talk with everyone on the beach, then retire to the hotel for the night. Yuffie will be available to pick as part of your party first thing the next day. Make sure you pick the ‘Bring it’ then ‘You can come with’ dialogue options when prompted to do so.
