FC 24 TOTW 16 – Salah headlines Team of the Week 16

It’s a New Year, a time of change, but some things remain the same. A new Team of the Week squad has come in FUT, which means new upgraded cards, and TOTW 16 in FC 24 Ultimate Team has a sensational headliner!

Once again, the leakers were bang-on! However, we did have to wait longer than usual before seeing who would be on the way. Take a look at all the cards from TOTW 16 in FC 24 Ultimate Team below.

The first special squad of 2024 is here, thanks to Team of the Week 16! It isn’t the best we’ve seen, but then a lot of the top leagues were on a break during the winter period.

As leaked by @AsyFutTrader, Mohamed Salah headlines the side. The Egyptian signed off in style before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations. He grabbed two goals and an assist against Newcastle. 

His match record was blotted slightly with a saved penalty in the first half. But, after changing his boots at the break, he put The Magpies to the sword in the second. Will Liverpool be able to cope without their formidable forward over the next few weeks? 

One of Chelsea’s new recruits has come in TOTW 16. Manchester City fans are surely disappointed that Cole Palmer was allowed to leave the club. He has been the standout player for Chelsea this season, during a time when the team has been faltering. 

The young Englishman absolutely ran the game against Luton Town. His two goals and an assist were enough to earn three points, despite a spirited Luton comeback. 

Sadio Mane may not be the player he used to be, but he bagged a brace against Al Ittihad as Al Nassr won 5-2. He is also included in Team of the Week 16, which matches the full leak provided by @Fut_scoreboard on X (formerly Twitter). 

TOTW 16 release date and start time 

The TOTW 16 release date in FC 24 Ultimate Team was January 3. Boosted cards were added to packs at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. 

They replaced FC 24 TOTW 15 items in packs and will stay available for one week only before rotating out. The new cards will join the Winter Wildcards items in packs before they rotate out on Friday.
