FC 24 Serie A ratings – Massive upgrades come to Itlay

The FC 24 Serie A ratings have caused much excitement among fans, with Italian sides containing some great talents who gained some huge upgrades! We are now at the end of the ratings reveals week for FC 24, with the top players being shown off before the full official database drops.

Serie A may not be home to the very highest-rated players around, but there is a wealth of talent across a selection of teams that make it one of the more interesting of the top five leagues. We didn’t see many big signings come to the league, with Yann Sommer the only one to challenge the top ratings. However, the loss of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Marcelo Brozovic to the Saudi Pro League does mean some top talents have left. There are definitely some ratings increases to look out for in Italy though!  

All eyes were on Victor Osimhen’s FC 24 rating after an 88 OVR was leaked, the Nigerian now confirmed for the huge upgrade. Rafael Leao had another excellent campaign and saw a nice bump up to an 86 OVR in FC 24.  

Victor Osimhen – 88 overall 

Victor Osimhen was one of the stand-out players in world football last season, shooting Napoli to the top of the table and finishing as the Golden Boot winner with 26 league goals. A massive +5 upgrade has come his way, making him one of the best strikers in the game. 

Mike Maignan – 87 overall 

Brought in to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma after he left for PSG, Mike Maignan certainly had big gloves to fill, and he has done it with aplomb. The Frenchman no longer has the top spot in the Serie A ratings, but does sit among the best players in the league. 

Lautaro Martinez – 87 overall

Another Serie A striker has gained an upgrade, with Inter’s Lautaro Martinez boosted to an 87 OVR. He finished five goals behind Osimhen in the league, but then there were another five goals between him and third place.

Paulo Dybala – 86 overall 

After seven years at Juventus, Paulo Dybala switched Turin for Rome, proving to be a great addition to Jose Mourinho’s Roma side. Despite suffering a bit with injuries, the Argentine wasn’t in danger of losing his 86 overall. 

Wojciech Szczesny – 86 overall 

Matters off the field saw Juventus finish seventh in Serie A, but their defence on the pitch was far better than in the courts. Pole Wojciech Szczesny continues to be the first choice for The Old Lady, who will be looking for a higher finish this season. 

With a dearth of all-rounders and fan-favourite players, Serie A has become a go-to place for FUT aficionados, which will continue in FC 24 Ultimate Team. The league also offers great opportunities for aspiring managers to nurture upcoming talent in FC 24 Career Mode, with many future world-beaters residing in Italy’s top tier.
