Dragon’s Dogma 2 DLC bundles

While the Standard Edition doesn’t come with any DLC, players who purchase the Deluxe Edition of Dragon’s Dogma 2 will receive plenty of DLC from the start. Included with the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Deluxe Edition are:

While all these DLC packs are available for players who purchased the Deluxe Edition, you can still get them if you purchased the Standard Edition too. The Dragon’s Dogma 2: A Boon for Adventurers – New Journey Pack can be bought separately and contains all of the same items available from the Deluxe Edition.

Should you buy DLC for Dragon’s Dogma 2?

This is a matter of personal preference, but we do not recommend buying most of the DLC for Dragon’s Dogma 2. Items like Wakestones and Rift Crystals can be found fairly readily in-game, and where they are required they act as a reason for players to explore. Buying them will let you skip content, but doesn’t require much effort to complete said content in the first place.

Many players have found the DLC for Dragon’s Dogma 2 to be fairly predatory. Certain things like customising your character and pawn once you start the game cost money, and many players are choosing to avoid playing the game altogether because of it.
