Struggling to beat the Diablo 4 Mahjoob boss fight? This boss is no joke, and if you aren’t prepared for him, it could be one of the hardest boss fights you’ll come up against in your Diablo 4 playthrough. Whether you’re getting hit hard by hit attacks, or can’t quite out-damage his healing, he’s not an easy prospect by any means.

There are plenty of difficult boss fights to take on but we’ve got you covered. If you’re wondering how to beat The Butcher in Diablo 4, we’ve got a guide for that. And if you’ve reached the end of the main campaign and need some help with the Diablo 4 Lilith boss fight, then we can help you out there, too. For now, though, let’s take you through how to beat the Diablo 4 Mahjoob boss fight. Keep track of the new Diablo 4 battle pass as well.

Diablo 4 Mahjoob: The location to begin the Only Cure quest.

Where to find Mahjoob in Diablo 4 Season 1

To take on Mahjoob, you first need to start the Only Cure quest. This requires reaching Act 4, and completing the Unsafe Travels and Road to Ruin quests first. Head to Amber Sands in the Kehjistan region, and start the quest at the bounty board. Once you’ve done this, head to where the quest marker guides you, to a safehouse in the northeast of Kehjistan.

Talk to Mahjoob inside and he will request a Ghost Palm Flower to cure his plague. Fetch the flower from the chest at the end of the room and hand it to him, transforming him into a Skittering Abomination and beginning the fight.

How to defeat Mahjoob in Diablo 4 Season 1

Mahjoob has two main attacks. First, he attacks you with spikes from long-range, and the other is a close-range melee attack. These both deal heavy damage, so stay away and keep moving, making good use of your dodge to avoid taking damage.

Keep in mind, though, that he has an ability that will heal him every 15 seconds, so you can’t simply kite around his attacks and chip away at him – you’ll need to damage him back. If you have an ability that can stun, using this just before he begins healing can negate it, making the fight much easier.

Aside from stunning him to prevent his healing, your general strategy is simply to dodge his attacks, and deal as much damage to him in between attacks. Use this time to get off some powerful abilities to deal as much damage as possible, and use the time Mahjoob spends attacking to recharge your cooldowns, and then deal damage again.

A great option is to use abilities that will deal damage passively over time while he’s attacking. For example, using Hydra as a Sorcerer will allow you to continue hitting Mahjoob during his attacks, and repeating this every time you’re waiting for your cooldown will quickly start stacking up huge amounts of damage.

That’s everything you need to know to beat the Diablo 4 Mahjoob boss fight. If you’re looking for some late-game content, make sure to check out our Diablo 4 Capstone Dungeon guide.
