Want to know the odds of seeing the Blood Knight in Diablo 4? Diablo’s first new class since Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls’ Crusader, the Blood Knight is a big deal. With the ability to transform into lethal beasts with new abilities, the new addition to Diablo Immortal is worth your attention.
If you’ve already cleared the Diablo 4 Capstone Dungeon and taken on Diablo 4 Nightmare Dungeons, wait for Diablo 4 Season 1 to spice things up. Read on to know more about this new class and the possibility of Blood Knights showing up in Diablo 4.
Are Blood Knights heading to Diablo 4?
There is no official confirmation regarding Blood Knights in Diablo 4. But the developers might use Diablo Immortal to determine if there is sufficient interest in the class. Available on Android, iOS, and PC, the free-to-play ARPG was downloaded 30 million times in its first month. If Blood Knights succeed in revitalizing its mobile player base, Diablo 4 players could potentially expect to see the class at some point.
The Blood Knights have some fascinating lore behind them. Bitten by vampires, an ancient ritual stops them from being completely turned into Thralls (lesser vampires). This means they retain some humanity alongside their newfound vampire powers, granting them the ability to smell blood from miles away and eternal life. Blood Knight skills revolve around blood and shadow magic. They can also tap into their vampiric instinct to gain enhanced agility and transform into powerful bloodthirsty beasts called Abominations.
Blood Knights explained
Blood Knights are a new melee-hybrid class in Diablo Immortal with vampiric abilities and superhuman strength. The seventh playable class were first revealed in a developer update livestream. It joins the game’s six classes: the Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, and Wizard.
The latest trailer showed off their beast transformations that need enemy kills to sustain them. It also gives players new skills that replace their traditional shadow magic, halberds, and polearms.
Dropping into Activision-Blizzard’s mobile ARPG on July 13, 2023, players can use the class change feature in Diablo Immortal to switch to Blood Knights from an existing class. While cooldowns are involved with changing classes normally, the update lets players sidestep the class change cooldown. The Blood Knight’s release patch will certainly stir interest among players to return to Diablo’s mobile title.
Blood Knight skills and attacks
With a potent mix of melee and ranged attacks, the new Diablo Immortal class has a lot of potential. It might even woo hardcore Diablo fans from their established builds. Here are some of the attacks you can perform as a Blood Knight:
