Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys location – how to open Eddie’s Toolbox

Looking for the Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys? Eddie’s Toolbox is likely one of the first locked containers you’ll come across when you fire up Dead Island 2. Located in the back driveway of Emma Jaunt’s mansion, the toolbox requires the Landscaper’s Keys.

As with so many safes and rooms across Hell-A, you’ll need to track down and defeat a named zombie to get the keys, in this case Green Thumb Eddie. Where to find the Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys

The Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys are carried by a named zombie called Green Thumb Eddie who spawns by the pool of Colt’ Swanson’s mansion. This is west of Access Road 782 in Bel Air but only after you’ve completed the main story quest Boardwalking Dead where you take on Butcho the Clown.

Colt Swanson’s mansion is the very first building you’ll explore when you visit Bel Air at the start of Dead Island 2. Fast travel to Emma Jaunt’s mansion in Bel Air, head out through the main front door and jump over the gate straight ahead, then cross the road and follow the steps up to the mansion. Green Thumb Eddie is found loitering by the pool.

While most named zombies shouldn’t cause you too much trouble, Green Thumb Eddie offers up a harder challenge, chiefly because he’s an Apex variant Butcher, meaning he regenerates health by munching on corpses. Pressure is key here, so keep a close leash on him and don’t hesitate to take some damage to land consistent hits. We also recommend going in with the maximum number of five Med Kits you can carry. Once Green Thumb Eddie is down, loot his corpse to get the Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys.

Dead Island 2 Eddie’s Toolbox location

The Dead Island 2 Eddie’s Toolbox is located on a truck on the easternmost driveway of Emma Jaun’ts mansion, north of the mansion tennis court and just east of the northern part of Alpine Drive in Bel AIr. From the fast travel point in Emma Jaunt’s mansion, head downstairs, continue to where Curtis is sitting, take a right, then head out of the mansion. The truck is just ahead on the left. Walk to the back of the truck and interact with the Eddie’s Toolbox to use the Dead Island 2 Landscaper’s Keys and score a high-tier weapon.
