CS2 maps – all confirmed maps in Counter Strike 2

What CS2 maps are we going to be able to play at launch? The highly anticipated update for CS:GO is upon us, and players want to know what’s coming. Well we have all the confirmed maps that will be in CS2, both competitive and casual map offerings.

All confirmed CS2 maps – Competitive maps

Here is a list of all the maps that will be in the competitive pool for CS2.

• Ancient
• Anubis
• Dust II
• Inferno
• Mirage
• Nuke
• Overpass
• Train
• Vertigo

These maps are all ones that we’ve seen in the past in both the competitive CS:GO ladder, and in CS:GO tournaments. These are maps that have been very popular. Here’s the maps we’ll get for the more casual modes, such as Deathmatch, Hostage, or Bomb Defense.

• Italy
• Baggage
• Shoots
• Office
• Canals
• Lake
• Shortdust

These maps are iconic Counter Strike maps, whether they come from 1.6 or Source. While they aren’t in the competitive rotation any more, they still hold a special place in the hearts of the players and are back in the more fun game modes.

While only a handful of maps, including Dust II, Mirage, Overpass, and Nuke were in the limited test, Inferno and Ancient were added to the limited test recently, so we should expect to have the full map suite for competitive at launch.
