If you thought the hunt for blue medallions was going to be confined to just the Village in Resident Evil 4 Remake, think again. The Merchant has a whole load of new requests for you once you reach that castle, with a whole heaping of spinels and bonus items to trade for.
We’ll show you how to locate and destroy all the blue medallions in the castle gate area of Resident Evil 4 Remake, and claim the rewards that await.

Resident Evil 4 Remake – Castle Gate Blue Medallion Locations
The first Castle Gate blue medallion can be found on the top level, shortly before reaching the cannon tower. An upgraded Plagas enemy is inside the room, dispatch them first with some heavy firepower before they box you in.
When opening the locked door on the upper level of the castle gate, turn around from the door and shoot the blue medallion to the right by the treasure chest.
When at the central tower with the cannon, aim high and look above the gate to find a blue medallion.
When jumping down inside the tower where the cannon is initially located, aim at the ceiling to find a blue medallion
One of the trickier medallions to find in this location isn’t technically in the castle at all. Look off the side of the ramparts in the area shortly after the first catapult cutscene to find the medallion hanging from a tree.
The final blue medallion at the castle gates can be found in the dome by the upper level of the cannon tower.

Final Thoughts
The Castle Gates blue medallions may be contained within a smaller area than the Quarry and Fish farm, but this will likely be the trickiest hunt so far. Some of the medallions are in fiendish locations. Once entering the castle, buying a treasure map for 3 spinels will make the search that much easier.
