Following weeks of leaks and fan theories, miHoYo has finally revealed what players can expect with the Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1 update. Although the developers have yet to detail the exact changes, the graphic they provided prominently featured a new PubSec character, Jane Doe, so we can safely assume her arrival is imminent. miHoYo also announced they’d be opening the Creator Beta Server in the same patch so content creators can give players an early preview of upcoming changes.
Before we get into what the Creator Beta Server could mean for the game, let us give you a quick preview of the mouse lady, Jane Doe, based on unofficial details that have surfaced to date. Back in June, leaks regarding this character began appearing, explaining some of her background and gameplay. Part of the New Eridu Public Security faction, the mysteriously named officer was revealed to be an S-Rank Physical Anomaly character who specializes in melee attacks and air grabs.
Of course, since the developers haven’t confirmed her arrival, you will need to take this information with the typical grain of salt. But, as mentioned before, one thing that you can definitely expect with the next update is the Creator Beta Server, which hardcore Honkai: Star Rail players may already have an idea of. This early access server allows content creators to try out new characters and features, allowing them to create guides and build recommendations that casual players can use.
For now, though, these are the only two details that miHoYo has revealed directly (and indirectly) via their blog post. Luckily, if you want to know more about the Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1 update, you won’t have to wait long. The devs will live-stream the special program on August 3, 2024, at 19:30 (UTC+8) through the game’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. Throughout the event, you’ll also be given the chance to claim a redemption code and a few lucky viewers will even be getting freebies for watching.
