Hit the entrance music, as 2K has revealed the full details of what to expect from WWE 2K22 when it arrives in March.

Confirming reports from this past week, Rey Mysterio is indeed the latest cover star. The game will be celebrating his 20 years in the business, with the high-flying veteran being the focus of the game’s 2K Showcase mode. He also offers up a quote. “I’m looking forward to sharing the stories behind the big moments of my career with a dedicated community of players and connecting with WWE fans in a whole new way as they play through my 2K Showcase.”

As previously established, MyGM mode makes its grand return after a long absence. Joining it is a brand new MyFaction mode, that allows players to collect and manage their dream faction via virtual cards. Universe Mode also returns, as well as an upgraded Creation Suite.

The game itself will be available in four editions. Standard, Cross-Gen Digital, Deluxe and a nWo 4-Life Digital Edition. The Deluxe Edition includes a season pass which reveals there’ll be five packs of post-launch content. They’ll also get three days early access, and an Undertaker Immortal Pack that includes three personas for The Deadman.

The nWo 4-Life Edition meanwhile celebrates 25 years of one of wrestling’s most notorious factions. It’ll include everything in the Deluxe package with some nWo themed extras. These include MyFaction EVO Cards and nWo alternate attire for Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Syxx. It’ll also include a playable Eric Bischoff and WCW Souled Out 1997 and WCW Bash at the Beach 1997 arenas. The package is rounded off with the nWo Wolfpac Championship.
