Hoop-shootin’ sequel NBA 2K18 has been named as the best-selling instalment in the sports franchise to date, shifting an impressive 10 million copies worldwide.
Publisher 2K Sports announced that the series as a whole has now surpassed the 80 million milestone, with the last five years giving rise to its most successful entries in terms of raw numbers.
The NBA franchise has been knocking around for some time now, having first kicked off way back in 1999. NBA 2K18 launched on multiple platforms in September last year, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Switch, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
