Infinity Ward and Raven Software have revealed the new Warzone Nuke skin reward they’ve introduced as part of Season 4 and most players are disappointed mainly because the cosmetic looks half-baked. Although the costume design is undeniably unique and eye-catching, the fact that it appears unfinished has predictably turned off a few players at the thought of acquiring it.
Now, even though this latest addition isn’t as big as Warzone Vondel’s map size, the cosmetic’s distinct appearance is noticeable enough that it was able to capture the attention of a large portion of the game’s player base. For this reason, numerous fans have now taken to social media sites like Reddit and Twitter to share their thoughts on the Nuka-Cola-inspired skin.
One Twitter user noted that this outfit looked as if it was rejected for the main store while another commenter asked why the costume was “wearing leggings that don’t match.” An FPS content creator named Duckside, on the other hand, simply said that it’s “an awful skin,” after which they attached an image displaying an outfit that “would look better” than what’s currently being offered.
Over on Reddit, it seems that players are slightly more impressed with this latest costume as one user said that the “Nuke skin looks badass.” It is worth noting, though, that the post they’re responding to only shows the top half of the cosmetic so they may not be aware of the developer’s questionable fashion choices from the waist down.
No matter what side of the argument you’re on, though, it’s safe to say that this Warzone Nuke skin’s striking design is undoubtedly one of the more creative ones we’ve seen in recent memory.
