The latest update patch notes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 have just dropped which include information on new weapons, maps and modes. While new weapons are set to release during Season 4 such as the Tempus Razorback Assault Rifle, IOS 45 SMG, and the Tonfa Melee weapon a number of existing weapons have been buffed and nerfed accordingly.

Firstly, the patch notes layout that Play Health has been increased to 150 from 100 on all modes and with full Armour Plates players can obtain a total of 300 health. Alongside this, the Regen Delay has been increased to 7 seconds from 5 seconds. With the changes to Player Health and the application of Armour Damage in Season 4 arriving the game’s overall Time to Kill will feel slower but also “more consistent, and more reactable at every engagement distance.”

While there have been adjustments made to a few weapons it’s important to note that most weapons will likely see their effectiveness alter due to the way Armour Damage has been changed this season. The Cronen Squall which has dominated Warzone 2 lobbies since its addition has received nerf with the Bullets to Kill time now being increased by 2. The full adjustments to the weapon are as follows:

  • Full-Auto
    • Bullets to Kill increased by 2 | Warzone Only
    • Maximum Damage increased | Warzone Only
    • Minimum Damage added | Warzone Only
  • Semi-Auto
    • Bullets to Kill increased by 1 | Warzone Only
    • Maximum Damage decreased | Warzone Only
    • Minimum Damage increased | Warzone Only

Notably, however, one of the fan-favourite recent additions to the game, the FTAC Siege, can now be wielded by Akimbo so expect to run into them in Warzone. In order to unlock the Akimbo mode for the FTAC Siege you’ll only have to get 25 Hip Fire Operator kills with the weapon.
