*UPDATED* Will DMZ Insured Weapon Slots Reset in Warzone 2 Season 2?

The high risk, high reward nature of this game mode has been a popular addition for the most hardcore of the fanbase, adding a rogue like element to Call of Duty. However, you’re not completely at risk; you can insure your weapon, taking up a slot, and then it can’t be lost. 

You only have a limited amount of Insured Weapon slots though, so you have to think carefully about which weapons you want in what slot.

Will Insured Weapon Slots Reset in Season 2 of Warzone 2?

Based on the Warzone 2 DMZ blog post from Call of Duty that was released on February 2, Insured Weapon Slots did not reset with Season 2 in DMZ. In other words, any insured weapon slots that were unlocked through previous Faction Mission progress in DMZ, didn’t reset.

This is great news for any fans who have been wondering, who can now sit back and relax knowing that their insured weapon slots have remained untouched.

In addition, Call of Duty also announced that they scaled back how challenging it is to unlock your second insured weapon slot in Season 2. Previously, fans had to complete all Tier 3 missions in order to unlock the second slot. But in Season 2, it will be much easier and more straightforward.
