Warzone 2 unfortunately continues to disappoint fans with its empty promises. The battle royale combat record, which was set to launch along with the midseason update, has been delayed according to an official post.

The announcement had the following to say regarding the sudden exclusion of this feature: “Although previously announced, Warzone 2.0 Combat Records will not be launching with Season 01 Reloaded due to the accuracy of the data population.” CoD then goes on to say that they’ll continue to work on this feature along with the implementation of Leaderboards. They will also be providing more information when available.

Some comments under the same post are speculating that it could be launched together with the release of Season 2. Unfortunately, there are still a handful of weeks until the current chapter ends so players would again be stuck waiting a long time for a basic feature.

Reddit threads have also been made regarding this revelation and the community response so far has predictably been negative. One user had this to say about the Combat Record news: “How on God’s green Earth can they not figure out the correct way to accurately track basic statistics.” A fair question since almost all FPS titles have this mechanic installed during launch.

It is also currently unclear whether stats will be tracked once the midseason update drops. Unfortunately, the developers are yet to address any of the player base’s questions leaving many with no answers. The lack of communication has been another particular issue that has irked the loyal community.

Whether Infinity Ward and Activision decide to finally act upon these suggestions and complaints remains to be seen. However, this constant influx of issues will surely force people to leave the game entirely if they aren’t addressed soon.
