Warzone 2 is well underway and the playlists they’ve made available only help to boost the action-packed offerings that this game mode has. As expected by the player base, these match types contain the typical selection like Solos, Duos, and Quads.

But puzzlingly enough, the follow-up title to CoD’s battle royale mode does not contain a regular Trios match type. Instead, what the game is currently offering are two largely unpopular selections which include the Unhinged and Third Person game modes.

Though the in-game mechanics are the same, these are still two very unique categories as the former allows teams to assimilate other squads. On the other hand, the latter changes the player’s POV much like another battle royale in PUBG. Unfortunately, these novel features only interest a minor portion of the player base leaving the rest with no alternative.

Multiple Reddit users have created threads complaining about the lack of a conventional three-player match type in the game. A number of comments have stated that they simply avoid playing any of the Trios game modes already on offer. Instead, they opt for other variants in order to play the typical variety that they’ve come to know and love.

Some have even chosen to play Quads while turning off Autofill just to enjoy the regular Warzone 2 experience. Although this can be a useful substitute in playing, it isn’t ideal when your team is handicapped against four-player squads. In addition to the multiple bugs currently plaguing the game, these issues may ultimately force users to stop playing altogether.

The large amount of complaints issued by the community may eventually spur Infinity Ward to make the necessary changes. However, both the developers and Activision are yet to issue an announcement regarding this problem for now.
