Nexon do a good job with delivering regular updates for The First Descendant. We’ve just been treated to patch 1.1.1, and this delivered significant nerfs to Invasion Dungeons, along with a few buffs, fixes, and quality-of-life improvements. Now Nexon has delivered another maintenance free update that has fixed an “abnormal” issue with The First Descendant fan-favorite, Bunny.

You can check out the update 1.1.1 patch notes to see all of the recent improvements from Nexon. Fans have praised an “amazing change” that has once again improved the farming rate for Hailey, and many fans are happy that the difficulty for Invasion Dungeons has been nerfed. While these changes have been delivered now, Nexon has told fans a massive multiplayer mode update is on the way soon.

While the multiplayer mode update is something to look forward to, The First Descendant devs have quietly delivered another fix, this time pertaining to Bunny.

The First Descendant devs fix huge Bunny bug

Following the release of update 1.1.1, Nexon soon released a second “maintenance free-patch” for The First Descendant. This only fixed the following issue for Bunny as shared on X:

  • Fixed issue where abnormal damage could be applied by Bunny and Ultimate Bunny under certain conditions.

Unfortunately, there’s no elaboration on the above from Nexon, even when looking at the known issues thread for September.

However, one of the replies on Twitter explains, “They patched bunny’s electric condense module bug where u could trigger it multiple times with repetitive input of a single key leading to gluttony nukes KEKW”.

The electric module nuke bug for Bunny was widely shared within the community, and it was extremely OP. You can see the bug in action below by YouTuber staycation:

It’s good that the bug has been fixed as there were complaints on Reddit about Bunny mains nuking everything and making the game boring.
