The First Descendant dev announces improvement for update 1.1.5

The second half of The First Descendant Season 1 has been out for nearly a week, and it has added Ultimate Freyna to TFD along with a lot of other components. While Ult Freyna is the biggest addition on paper, perhaps the best is the ETA-0 trading mechanic. Following the ETA-0’s arrival, Nexon has announced a restoration system along with an improvement planned for The First Descendant update 1.1.5.

In addition to Ultimate Freyna, the new update has added Halloween skins along with a new boss fight, 400% Infiltration Operations, and new modules for Hailey. The ETA-0 system has added limited-time trades that refresh on a weekly basis, and Nexon has discussed exciting plans they have for Season 2.

The ETA-0 vendor is the perhaps the best addition that has arrived with the second half of Season 1, but not everything has been perfect. As a follow-up to its arrival, Nexon has announced that The First Descendant players will be able to take advantage of a restoration process over blueprints.

The First Descendant update 1.1.5 improvement and restoration process

On X, Nexon has stated “Through Hotfix 1.1.5, the ‘Register Duplicate Items’ method will be improved”. This is for selling blueprints through the ETA-0.

Following the arrival of update 1.1.4, Nexon were made aware of some players accidentally selling blueprints because of the “Register Duplicate Items” button. Specific blueprints mentioned by Nexon included the “Energy Activator” and “Crystallization Catalyst”.

If you accidentally sold either of these blueprints, the good news is that they should have been restored. However, there have been other incidents, and Nexon has announced another restoration process for between now and October 18th. Below is Nexon’s message:

Greetings, Descendants.

As mentioned in Hotfix 1.1.4b, we would like to inform you about the restoration process for items sold through ‘Register Duplicate Items’ regarding ETA-0 ‘Sell Blueprints’

During the restoration process, all <Premium ETA Vouchers> collected through the selling process will be reclaimed.

However, your balance will be negative in case you don’t have enough Vouchers to cover it.

■ Restoration Items

– All blueprints sold through ETA-0 ‘Sell Blueprints’ between PDT 2024.10.11(Fri) 00:00 ~ 2024.10.14(Mon) 00:00

– Restoration Item List Energy Activator Blueprint Crystallization Catalyst Blueprint Hailey Enhanced Cell DNA Hailey Stabilizer Component Hailey Spiral Catalyst Link Hailey Data Chip

※ Through Hotfix 1.1.5, the ‘Register Duplicate Items’ method will be improved, so please use this feature if you need to resell any blueprints that have been restored.

■ Restoration / Reclamation Schedule

– PDT 2024.10.18(Fri) (TBD)

※ For Hailey blueprints, the blueprints will only be restored for Descendants who does not have Hailey.

※ Please be aware that you will be disconnected from the server during the item restoration/reclamation process. You will need to reconnect once the process is complete.

■ Restoration Process

– All items sold through ‘Sell Blueprints’ will be sent via mail according to the Restoration / Reclamation Schedule as you can see above.

– All <Premium ETA Vouchers> collected through selling blueprints will be reclaimed. – If the number of Vouchers you have is negative, you will not be able to use ETA-0. Because it will be reflected as a negative balance if there are not enough <Premium ETA Vouchers> to reclaim. – You need to obtain <Premium ETA Vouchers> equal to the negative amount to re-use ETA-0.
