The First Descendant fans have a lot to anticipate for the very near future. Nexon’s second half of Season 1 is right around the corner, and it promises to be a fantastic update full of amazing content. While Ultimate Freyna is the biggest addition, fans are also massively anticipating Halloween skins. Here you will find The First Descendant Halloween skins release date along with the costumes confirmed so far for the upcoming celebration of All Hallow’s Eve.
Nexon has a lot of exciting plans for Season 2 and beyond. In the second half of Season 1 update, they are adding a new feature that will make characters look even better. We are also getting Ultimate Freyna, a new boss fight, and the game is getting enhanced ray tracing for those willing to buy a PS5 Pro.
All of the above is no doubt fantastic, and Ultimate Freyna is easily the biggest addition arriving next week. However, arguably the most popular aspect of The First Descendant is its characters and cosmetics, so it’s no wonder people are highly anticipating Halloween skins.
The First Descendant Halloween skins release date
The release date for The First Descendant Halloween skins is October 10th. Nexon’s dev note 14 goes over everything that will be included in the second half of Season 1 update, and this includes the confirmation that we are getting spooky costumes. It’s also when Ultimate Freyna will come out alongside 400% Infiltration Operations.
In the dev note, Nexon teased “special cosmetics and skin paint that are perfect for Halloween night”. However, it’s not only skins and dye that we can anticipate. Per Nexon, the city of Albion will be “transformed with dark and mysterious Halloween decorations”.
While not everything has been revealed yet, we have gotten our first look at some of the Halloween skins in the new Season 1 preview embedded below:
This preview shows we are getting a witch skin with a magic broomstick emote. There’s also a nurse skin with an eye patch that is reminiscent of Kill Bill 2, there’s a pumpkin skin, and there’s black-and-white striped prison outfits.
It’s unclear if these are all of the Halloween skins that will be on offer, but it’s everything that has been shown so far. As for Albion city decorations, the preview shows open caskets, candles, and lit up jack-o-lanterns. It also appears we are getting pumpkin back attachments, and some of the shown off emotes are really cool.
