The Finals Season 5 teaser seemingly reveals awesome new weapon and theme

Fans of The Finals are in for a massive treat next month from Embark. Christmas is set to come early with the launch of Season 5, and the developer has dropped their first teaser via its key art. While it doesn’t guarantee anything, The Finals Season 5 teaser does seemingly show a new theme along with an awesome new weapon.

Just recently Embark shared the update 4.8.0 patch notes, and they also made a change to the Season 4 Emerald rank rewards following an “incorrect” announcement. So far S4 has been an absolute blast thanks to Embark’s celebration of Halloween plus all the new content.

The fourth episode has gone by in the blink-of-an-eye, and we don’t have too much longer left to wait for Season 5 to arrive. The Finals developer has already begun teasing the fifth episode, and all we have to go off right now is a teaser that possibly shows a lot.

The Finals Season 5 teaser possibly shows new weapon

The Finals was part of the Golden Joystick Awards, and Embark revealed key art for Season 5. It is merely a teaser, but it was revealed during the awards show that more details about S5 will be shared on December 5^th.

While we have to wait a couple more weeks for official information, right now we can dissect the teaser shared by the developer. The obvious sighting in the teaser is a new skin, but there also appears to be a new weapon.

The new weapon appears to be a shotgun with three barrels. Unfortunately, we can’t decipher anything else about the shotgun, but it appears to be for the Medium class.

Away from the gun, the skin possibly reveals that Season 5’s theme is Aztec. This means we could possibly get a new Tenochtitlan map as well as possibly thematically appropriate weapons and gadgets.

Unfortunately, that’s all we have to really go off for Season 5 from this key art. However, Embark also announced that The Finals is coming to PS4 on December 12^th, so that’s something to look forward to for PlayStation gamers still yet to upgrade for PS5.

Again, more details about Season 5 will be shared on December 5^th. Prior to this teaser, Embark shared a new feature they hope will be in Season 5, and they previously asked fans for “help” with the S5 battle pass.
