The Finals typically receives a new update every Wednesday, but no fresh patch has come out as of writing. Some fans are worried that a patch isn’t coming, but thankfully that isn’t the case. While we don’t know the contents of the incoming patch, The Finals dev has stated that the new update is delayed while also confirming upcoming changes to in-game events.
If you are a fan of The Finals, there is stuff to anticipate. The launch of Season 3 is less than a month away, and Embark has confirmed a massive new comms feature for Season 3 while also teasing other ‘exciting changes‘. In addition to what the devs have said, a leak has shown an insanely cute pet set to join the game in the future.
While all of the above is exciting, so too are the weekly updates. The new update isn’t out as of yet, but it should be delivered soon.
New The Finals update delayed
On the game’s official Discord, an announcement has been provided by Embark Oscar confirming that The Finals’ update this week has been delayed. There’s no mention of when it will come out, but Oscar says the team are working on it so hopefully it will be provided very soon.
In addition to announcing that this week’s update has been delayed, the developer also revealed a new community event to participate in for Terminal Attack. The reward is some hella cute pink canvas shoes that you will unlock by aiding the community in achieving seven million Terminal Attack eliminations.
While this community event is available right now, Oscar says that they are working on changes that will make sure the next community event is visible and trackable in-game rather than only via the online leaerboard. Not only that, but for the next community event the team is planning to change the theme from pink to something else.
