If you’re looking to experience an exciting, team-based shoot ’em up set in a dystopian world, look no further than Ubisoft’s ever-divisive The Division series. Though the retail price for both standalone entries may be too much for some to justify, Steam is currently holding a sale for both installments (including its expansions), and you can now purchase it for up to 80% less!
Ubisoft’s cooperative FPS series, which boasts two entries to date with a third one on the way, remains one of the most-played projects to date despite the first and second installments being released in 2016 and 2019, respectively. Positive reviews from loyal players continue to pour in until now, which means you should still be able to enjoy many of the features present within each game, including its essential multiplayer experience.
As mentioned above, all of the expansions for both games are also on sale, meaning you’ll have plenty of content to shoot your way through if you finish both games quickly. The Division, the series’ first entry, has three pieces of DLC, namely Last Stand, Survival, and Underground, each of which is priced at $2.49. The Division 2, on the other hand, only has one expansion called Warlords of New York, which you can purchase for $8.99.
Of course, to gain access to these expansions, you will need to buy the base games first. Luckily, you won’t need to shell out much to do so, as you can purchase 2016’s The Division on Steam for only $4.49. Conversely, the more recent The Division 2, though still essentially affordable, costs slightly more at $8.99. Alternatively, you can buy The Division bundle instead, containing both standalone entries, for only $12.13.
Keep in mind that much like any Steam sale, this The Division promo will only be available for a limited time, so make sure to get it while you still can.
