Battle royale puzzler Tetris 99 has announced its latest Grand Prix event, and it’s a tie-in with the recent launch of WarioWare: Get It Together!
If you don’t know the drill, the game will undergo a suitably WarioWare style makeover during the event. You’ll have to earn as many points as you can over the four days. The higher you place, the more points you earn. Earn 100 points, and you’ll get to keep the theme to use permanently.
It’s the 24th such event, following similar tie-ins with Splatoon 2 and Luigi’s Mansion 3. The theme up for grabs includes new artwork, music and even custom designs on the Tetris blocks, modelled after some of the game’s characters. WarioWare: Get it Together! meanwhile launched for the Nintendo Switch last Friday.
