Tetris 99’s next event will be of the spooky and seasonal sort as it crosses over with Luigi's Mansion 3 (via Eurogamer).
The blocky battle royale has riffed off of other Switch games like Splatoon 2 and Fire Emblem, and if players tot up 100 event points this weekend, they will be awarded a Luigi's Mansion 3 theme. It even comes with a snazzy soundtrack.

Online Tetris 99 games played over this weekend will reward players a certain number of points, depending on where they place, but 100 points wouldn’t take too long to achieve. In addition, Tetris 99’s Big Block DLC will be implementing offline multiplayer in the future. The planned Local Arena mode will have up to eight players compete for geometric glory, and 2P Share Battle will let two players share their Joy-Con controllers for PvP battling.
The Luigi's Mansion 3 crossover starts on October 25 and ends on October 28. Luigi's Mansion 3 will launch for Nintendo Switch on October 31.
