Tekken 8 is set to be one of the finest beat-em-ups around and already has a hugely loyal fan base after a successful period in beta. Just like with Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, Tekken has an incredible roster of characters – but there are a few standout favourites. One of them is Jin Kazama – who has been recreated in this incredible Tekken 8 Jin Kazama cosplay by someone who manages to completely transform their entire facial structure.
Tekken 8 isn’t out until next year, and you can read about the Tekken 8 release date here, but that hasn’t stopped the incredible taryn_cosplay from absolutely nailing Kazama. Kazama was first introduced to the series in 1997’s Tekken 3, but quickly became a favourite and one of the series’ main protagonists.

He starts by putting on the smaller details, for example the signature tattoo at the top of the right arm. Then the real work begins. His long hair is scraped back in a bun, while he applies makeup to change and contour his face to match his favourite Tekken character.
His eyebrows are then redrawn, using a special pen, to recreate the full, sharply-pointed ones Kazama boasts. The camera then flashes away and the next thing you see if the full reveal – complete with an impressive Kazama wig. Taryn_cosplay clearly doens’t miss a trick when it comes to the gym either, with his muscular physique helping him create a truly believable Kazama. At the end of the video, he shows off some of Kazama’s stances – and it looks almost like it’s been taken directly from the upcoming video game.
This isn’t the first time Taryn_cosplay has tackled characters from videogames. He’s amassed nearly 800,000 followers on Instagram who follow him specifically for his interpretations and portrayals of popular characters, including the likes of Jonny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077.
