Konami has given a release date to its classic side-scroller compilation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.

If you missed the original announcement, Konami is bundling together thirteen games based on the hit TMNT cartoon. These include gems like the original 1989 arcade game and its sequel Turtles in Time. However, there’s also the home releases of these games too, as well as console-exclusive offerings like 1992 Mega Drive release The Hyperstone Heist.

Of the thirteen games in the collection, four will have added online play. There’s also support for local co-op and even Japanese regional versions of 11 of the games. That’s on top of a bunch of behind-the-scenes goodies for die-hard TMNT fans too, with development art, assets, sketches and more.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans have been feasting well of late. Dotemu recently released Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, a brand new game utilising the classic style. Josh spent some time with that game, and you can read his thoughts just over this way if you fancy.

Meanwhile, if you’re after a good dose of nostalgia for the original titles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection arrives on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 30. Check out the game’s latest trailer below.
