Konami has added a massive new license to eFootball 2024, bringing a whole new competition into the game. Authenticity is a key talking point in sports games, so this will be a major addition for the franchise.
As ever, competition between EA and Konami is fierce, especially when it comes to licenses. Konami has secured exclusive deals with several Italian clubs, but EA still holds the vast majority of major leagues, teams, and players.
As part of the eFootball Season 2 update, Konami has added an incredible new license to its portfolio. Take a look at it below.

Check out the eFootball 2024 new license! Konami has brought the AFC Champions League to your screens in eFootball 2024.
The very best teams from Asia and Oceania all compete for continental glory, and you can take your favourite team to the title in a fully authentic mode.
The license comes with fully authentic animations for the tournament. This includes a behind the scenes view in the build up to the match, where you can see the biggest stars getting ready for action.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr and Al Hilal’s Neymar are among the superstars that feature. It is no surprise to see those two teams, and Karim Benzema’s Al Ittihad at the top of the AFC Champions League ratings.
Among the lesser know teams are clubs from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Jordan. If you want a challenge, try using Kaya FC-Oloilo of the Philippines as they are the lowest rated team available.
Each match comes with its own unique atmosphere and stadium visuals. The commentary team are even on board with the competition, providing unique insight into its history and providing a great feeling of immersion.
