Konami is bringing a bundle of its classic TMNT games in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection coming in 2022.

There’ll be thirteen games in the collection from across the 8-bit and 16-bit eras featuring the heroes-in-a-half-shell. Konami has teamed with Digital Eclipse to give the games a bit of a touch up for modern systems. These include the ability to save at any time, a rewind function, and button remapping.

The full list of titles in the TMNT Cowabunga Collection are as follows:

  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy)

Of those games, four including the original TMNT Arcade game, Turtles in Time, The Hyperstone Heist and Tournament Fighters, will also be playable online with friends. The other games will support local co-op, where appropriate. Furthermore, the collection also includes 11 Japanese regional versions as an added bonus.

Naturally, there’s also a ton of extras on the games including never-before-seen concept art, game design material and more. However, Konami have also partnered with series rights holders Nickelodeon to offer up some historic bonus content from the cartoons, comic book series and other TMNT media too.

There’s no specific date for the bundle, but Konami say the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will arrive on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year.
