One Tears of the Kingdom player has decided to create an inverted carriage as they’re tired of venturing through Hyrule on horseback. The wacky invention in question, which was naturally made using the game’s new Fuse ability, consists of several pieces of wood, four wheels, and a horse pulling the entire vehicle from the middle instead of being placed at the front.

Though largely impractical, this device will surely give you a much easier time discovering all Tears of the Kingdom shrine locations and Great Fairy locations while not doing any of the work yourself. If you’re looking to reach all 15 Skyview Tower locations, though, then you may need to build a less landlocked vehicle like a multistage rocket instead.

This ingenious, albeit inefficient device was created and subsequently shared through the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit by a player named leukenaam13. The thread they posted included a short clip of the invention with a caption that said they “made a car that doesn’t require energy,” which doesn’t seem to be true as the tired-looking horse propelling the vehicle forward seems to be expending all of the energy that it has.

However, it can’t be denied that this does make things easier on players as they no longer need to mash a button to spur the horse forward. Some commenters have even been inspired by this contraption as one user would go on to ask whether attaching swords to the front of the vehicle would cut grass. Another player jokingly noted that “the community is going to somehow turn TotK into a farming simulator,” with the way things are going.

This just proves that the features that Tears of the Kingdom brings is constantly pushing the boundaries of player creativity and this inverted carriage is just one example of it. With the game’s community being as large as it already is, we will surely be seeing more of the same in the future and it may only be a matter of time until we see full blown farming vehicles pop up within the game.
