Nintendo has reminded fans that the final DLC character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate will be revealed tomorrow afternoon.

The announcement will take the form of the final Mr Sakurai Presents broadcast from the game’s director, Masahiro Sakurai. The forty minute presentation will include details on the fighter including their release date and Mii Fighter costumes. The announcement also notes that it’ll be the final presentation about Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

Previously, the brawler has had a whopping 10 fighters added since the game’s original launch in 2018. The additions kicked off with Joker from Persona 5 soon after launch. Other additions have included Banjo and Kazooie, Terry Bogard, Minecraft Steve and Sephiroth to name but four. The most recent addition was Tekken‘s Kazuya Mishima who landed back in June.

As for who our mystery remaining fighter is, of course Nintendo is staying tight lipped until the reveal. However, Sakurai has teased on social media (translated by VGC) “Even if you don’t play the game, if you’re interested in gaming I’d like to recommend you watch it.”

We don’t have long to find out. Tune into The Final Battle broadcast in the video below at 3pm UK time on October 5. If you’ve not checked out our original review for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate yet, you can read that over here. Leave your best guesses in the comments too, why not?
