Capcom has now announced that the Street Fighter 6 open beta release date will be on May 19, a few weeks before the game’s actual launch window. The upcoming pre-release event will apparently “feature the same content as the closed beta test conducted in December 2022.” This means that participants can expect the same eight characters from before as well as both online and offline match types, including the single-player World Tour mode.

The Street Fighter 6 open beta will start at 12 AM PT / 3 AM ET / 8 AM GMT on May 19 and will conclude at the same time on May 21. The developers have mentioned that they “may have to carry out emergency maintenance if issues are encountered during the open beta,” so the game’s servers may be taken offline at certain points during this period.
