Bethesda has dropped a new update for space faring RPG Starfield, finally fixing a long-standing issue that now means players can adjust their FOV.
The new patch came out today, but there’s not much in the way of additional updates outside of the FOV issue – with mainly stability being tackled and sorted out. Still, the FOV fix is a massive step forward for accessibility and allowing players more options that will allow them to play the well received game – check out our own Starfield review here – in relative comfort. Until now, players have had to use an unofficial fix, which you can still check out here if you need it.

Starfield 1.7.36 patch notes
General
- FOV: Sliders are now available in Settings that allow players using first person or third person to adjust their FOV.
Performance and Stability
- [PC ONLY] Improved stability for Intel Arc GPUs.
- Various additional stability and performance improvements.
Quest Specific
- Echoes of the Past: Addressed an issue where tunneling creatures could pick a location that would prevent progression.
