It looks as if Resistance: Retribution is heading to PlayStation Plus, as a Korean age rating for the game has popped up.

As spotted by Gematsu, the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea has certified the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Which implies that its on its way to the new service.

The premium tier of the new PS Plus gives subscribers a catalogue of older games to play. Sony recently announced a number of them, but more keep leaking out. Just yesterday we saw an image of Regina, the heroine of Dino Crisis adoring a menu option.

It seems daft that Sony isn’t just releasing the full list of games, in order to hype people up.

Resistance: Retribution was a cracker. It was made by the underappreciated Bend Studio, whose talented developers have shepherded numerous PlayStation franchises to portable platforms. And, of course, who recently gave us the underappreciated Days Gone.

Resistance: Retribution took after the likes of Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror and Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow—two excellent PSP action-thrillers. It made up for the PSP’s lack of a second analogue stick by using the face buttons and a generous auto-aim mechanic.

On the PlayStation Vita, mind, you can map those face-button inputs onto the second analogue stick—a dramatic improvement. Similar wranglings will doubtless be possible on PS5 and PS4, too. Check out VideoGamer’s review of the game here.
