Palworld fans are soon set to get the long-anticipated summer update. It’s been anticipated ever since its original announcement, and we’re expecting news to be delivered at the upcoming Summer Game Fest event. But, before Geoff Keighley’s Game Fest begins, a Palworld developer has shown off their new “favourite” pal part of the upcoming summer update.

In addition to the summer update, Pocketpair has previously teased PvP Arena for sometime this year. There is also the possibility that the game will eventually come to PS5 in the future, but right now the summer update and PvP are the biggest aspects to anticipate.

The summer update should be arriving relatively soon, and the community manager has shown off one of the new pals set to debut.

Palworld dev shows new frog pals part of summer update

Palworld community manager, Bucky_cm, has shared a ‘leak’ on Twitter. Their post includes a brief clip showing off the new frog pal set to debut with the summer update.

Bucky_cm’s post says, “My favourite part of the upcoming MASSIVE summer update is playing with this new frog Pal in their pond”. You can check out the clip in the embedded twitter post below:

Aside from this new frog pal wearing the outfit of a karate pupil, three other pals for the summer update have been revealed in a trailer. You can check out the trailer below:

There is no release date for the summer update as of writing, but hopefully one will be provided at Summer Game Fest. Summer takes place between June and towards the end of September, so the update will land anywhere between said timeframe. Hopefully it arrives sooner rather than later.
