Next Fortnite season will have massive live event

The end of Epic Games’ current battle royale chapter and episode is quickly approaching. There’s still a while left to enjoy the ongoing activities, but doomsday is near. And, as if you weren’t already excited about what’s coming, a reliable leaker has shared that the next Fortnite season will have a massive live event.

Nothing has been officially revealed about the next Fortnite season as of writing, but there are big clues that it’s returning to Chapter 1. This is what leaks point to as well, but the rebirth isn’t arriving until after Halloween. So, for the time being, make sure to grab the Jack Skellington skin and enjoy the in-game Alan Wake Flashback Experience.

And, once Halloween is over, get ready to experience quite possibly the biggest live event in the game’s history.

Next Fortnite season live event details leaked

Often reliable leaker, Hypex, has leaked details for the next Fortnite season. The current Epic Games episode is set to end on November 3rd according to the in-game battle pass, and the next season will be a very brief one. Leaker Hypex says that an end event countdown for the next Fortnite season will begin on November 21st, and there will then be a live event on December 3rd.

As for Season 5 itself, it’s a return to Chapter 1 according to leaks. Hypex claims the battle royale is returning to Chapter 1 ‘due to the time machine breaking, and we’ll cycle through ch1 seasons for a month with constant map changes and OG weapons/loot pool’.

The live event is said to involve a black hole, and Hypex speculates Epic Games ‘took time to cook something crazy’. No other specific details about the event have been provided, but there are plenty of leaks for the return to Chapter 1. These include Zero Build staying, and ziplines being placed around the map for Zero Build only.

In other Fortnite news, someone has remade classic Doom to enjoy this Halloween. Fans are also crying foul at an apparent skin price hike.
