Valorant fans are ready for Episode 8 Act 3. While the new chapter doesn’t begin with much anew, it is similar to Act 2 where a new Agent became available but wasn’t immediately revealed. A new map is coming to the game, and Riot Games has shared when the new Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 map will be revealed, and it’s only a few weeks away.
The release date and time for Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 is imminent. Before the new chapter begins, make sure to check out the update 8.08 patch notes to see all of the new Agent buffs and nerfs. In addition, check out the Premier map pool for May to June.
While there’s not much anew with Riot Games’ latest chapter from day one besides changes to Premier, the good news is that a fresh map will be introduced. We don’t know much about this Defiance map besides when it will first be showcased.
When new Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 Defiance map will be revealed
The new Valorant Episode 8 Act 3 Defiance map will be revealed at the VCT Masters Shanghai competition. This competition begins on May 23rd and is scheduled to last until June 9th.
This comes courtesy of a graphic at the end of the Episode 8 Act 3 Defiance trailer and shared by ValorantLeaksEN on Twitter. The graphic says ‘New map reveal at Valorant Masters Shanghai,’ but there’s no specific date. It’s possible it could be revealed at the finals similar to Clove at the VCT Madrid Masters on March 24th.
If the new map does get revealed on the final day, then it would be June 9th. However, this is not confirmed as of writing.
Unfortunately, there are no details about the map other than the fact it will be revealed at the Masters Shanghai. Hopefully, it will be another map that delivers an excellent experience for fans.
