New The Finals community event Legendary skin reward possibly leaked for this week

The Finals typically receives an update on a weekly basis, and one has already been confirmed and teased for this week. This follows on from the disappointing 3.7 that was merely an addition and rotation to the store. Fortunately, this week’s update is billed as a proper patch, and a new The Finals Legendary skin reward may have a leaked for a community event.

Embark has confirmed a new addition to The Finals this week while also hyping its rare and exclusive skins. For many in the community, Season 3 has been a massive disappointment with fans complaining huge nerfs have ruined the game. Not only that, but fans also claim that fun weapons such as the FCAR have been ruined because of devastating nerfs.

While balance changes have been a recurring issue this season, fans have also bemoaned the lack of community events. Nothing has been announced as of yet, but it appears a new Legendary skin reward has leaked for a community event that could possibly take place this week.

New The Finals community event Legendary skin reward leak

On The Finals subreddit, OP jxxnvs shared a post titled, ‘Have I missed an event or is there a way to unlock this in game right now?’. The post is accompanied by an in-game screenshot that appears to show a leaked community event skin reward.

The reward is called Iseul- T Reality Check, and it’s a Legendary/skin for frag grenades. The screenshot shows that it is currently locked with a message that reads, “Rewarded from Community Event”.

This reward has not been part of any other previous community event, so it seems to be an unintentional leak from Embark. Assuming it is an accurate leak, it’s possible the community event could take place this week coinciding with the new update.

Reacting to the Legendary grenade skin, some of the replies are underwhelmed and disappointed. One reply says, “Another frag grenade skin. Would be cool if the other grenades would get some love, too”.

Meanwhile, an even more damning comment says, “I’m so f***ing sick of Frag grenade skins. I have FIVE cool Frag grenade skins. We get one in every battlepass. Last season we got TWO frag grenade skins in the battlepass. I have ZERO unique skins for the pyro grenade, gas grenade, smoke grenade, sonar grenade, flashbang, any of the mines, shields, tracking dart/thermal bore, C4/breach charge, etc”.

Updates for The Finals typically release on Wednesday, although they sometimes occasionally get pushed to Thursday or even later on very rare occasions. A community event isn’t confirmed to happen this week, but fans are hoping for one as there has been a lack of community events throughout the whole of Season 3 so far.
