Bethesda has released a new trailer for Redfall, the upcoming vampire shooter from Arkane Austin, showing off its island setting.

Check out the new trailer below:

The description reads:

“Slay alone or squad up for up to 4 player co-op in Redfall, an open-world story-driven FPS from the creators of Dishonored and Prey. The town of Redfall is under siege by a legion of vampires who have cut the island off from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors, choose from a roster of heroes to create the perfect team of vampire slayers and take back Redfall. Bite Back when Redfall launches in 2023!”

As you can see, the place looks suitably eerie. The developer has been keen to drive home the importance of the game’s single-player component, too. When Bethesda showed off some gameplay, at its recent showcase, we got a good look at its mission structure. Which seems fitting for both co-operative and solo play. (But probably more fun with other people.)

Just last month, Bethesda announced that the game will now be releasing in 2023. Not just Redfall, but Starfield too. These two delays were a big blow to Microsoft, and to Xbox Game Pass. So much so that Phil Spencer publicly apologised and vowed to do better.
