Marvel Rivals is full of exploits that players can use from the game’s vulnerabilities to win matches. From Doctor Strange’s portal tricks that charge ultimates with friendly fire to Peni Parker’s Arachno-Mines that transform into spawn-killing missiles, players have discovered flaws that tip the scales of justice.
Among these concerns, a Rocket Raccoon exploit has surfaced that is rewriting the Strategist’s playbook. Rocket’s ability, Ammo Invention Team-Up, which provides unlimited ammo and rapid firing to teammates such as Punisher and Winter Soldier, is designed to have a cooldown. Players, on the other hand, have discovered a way to reset it instantaneously, allowing the hero to spam the buff, resulting in endless firepower for the two heroes.
Marvel Rivals Rocket Raccoon team-up bug gives more firepower to The Punisher and Winter Soldier
Marvel Rivals players have discovered a bug where shifting heroes in the spawn room while equipped as Rocket, will instantly reset its Ammo Invention (Z Ability) after it has been used. Usually, once you use the ability, it should trigger a 40-second cooldown. But Rocket mains are using it as soon as they exit the spawn room, giving Winter Soldier and Punisher infinite ammo for a while.
As soon as it ends, these healers go back to the spawn room, swapping to a different character and swapping back to Rocket, all in less than 40 seconds to have a refresh of the same ability. While the strategy is quite effective and can charge the ults of both the heroes much faster, it does require one to master Rocket’s jetpack dash and movement to move to and fro to the spawn room.
Players who have already used this ability shared their experiences on how it literally tipped the scale of their matches in their favor. One such user wrote, “Unlimited Z packs? SIGN ME UP!” Another user said, “No wonder I’ve been getting screwed in games with him.”
This technique was made popular by Rivals pro mL7 who posted a video on TikTok where they were camping around the spawn room and deploying ammo points endlessly for their teammates by quickly swapping heroes.
