So you want to play the MW3 campaign early access? Who wouldn’t! With the Modern Warfare 3 beta now over, many players were able to get their hands on the game’s multiplayer. From new maps, weapons and even operators, the recent MW3 beta proves there’s a lot to come when the game launches fully on November 10.

However, MW3 multiplayer aside, many players are eagerly anticipating the continuation of the campaign, which Activision has confirmed will pick right up from where MW2 left off. This time, players must take on the series’ most iconic antagonist Makarov who Captain Price describes as the, “Ultimate threat,” and, “A force of evil, who seeks to tear the world apart, piece by piece.” So if you’re looking to get your hands on the MW3 Campaign early access, here’s what you need to know.

MW3 campaign early access start date

The campaign early access for MW3 will commence on November 2. If you’d like to play the Modern Warfare 3 campaign early, you’ll need to pre-order any digital edition of the game on the platform of your choice. You should also be aware that purchasing a physical copy will not provide you with early access to the campaign. So be sure to pre-order Modern Warfare 3 through your platform’s online store.

This was confirmed by Activision where it clearly states that, “The full Campaign, of course, is available up to one week prior to the game’s official launch on November 10, and is available through Campaign Early Access, included in all digital pre-order editions of Modern Warfare III.”

So once you’ve pre-ordered the game, you’ll be automatically registered to participate in the MW3 Campaign Early Access on PlayStation, Xbox, Battle.net or Steam.
