The MW2 Season 5 Reloaded start time has now been announced by Activision ahead of its impending launch. Like past midseason updates, the next patch will be bringing in several changes and new features for the CoD community.
With the Modern Warfare 3 release date fast approaching, many players are already looking forward to the the next series installment. But with the Lara Croft release date set to swing its way into the game in Season 5 Reloaded, the upcoming patch should at least give fans something to enjoy while they wait for the highly anticipated expansion-turned-standalone entry. With that said, here’s when you can expect Season 5 Reloaded to start.
MW2 Season 5 Reloaded release date
The MW2 Season 5 Reloaded will release on August 30, 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The midseason patch’s official launch takes place exactly four weeks after the fifth season began. This has typically been the time frame for past Reloaded updates as well.

The MW2 Season 5 Reloaded start time is at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will also include a new multiplayer map, a new Resurgence experience, and more. Here’s how these times break down per region:

MW2 and Warzone Season 5 Reloaded size
Season 5 Reloaded update size is over 53GB on PlayStation. We expect this to be the same for Xbox and PC as well. So if you’re up for it, preload is now live. And while the new update might seem large for many, it’ll reduce the game’s overall size once installed.
In addition to the previously mentioned features, a fan-favorite mode in Warzone’s Armored Royale will also be making its return as part of Season 5 Reloaded. Infinity Ward and Raven Software have also added more content to DMZ in the form of Shadow Company Tier 3, 4, and 5 missions, all of which will be available once the update has been released.
