The MW2 campaign story of Alejandro Vargas and Valeria Garza is apparently set to continue with the arrival of the game’s third season. Garza, who is better known as the notorious El Sin Nombre, was the primary antagonist of the campaign’s opening portion. After being captured by Task Force 141, however, it turned out that a larger, more corrupt organization was the main culprit behind the stolen missile scandal.

Community reaction to this latest announcement has largely been positive since many within the fan base had long been asking for the addition of Alejandro Vargas and El Sin Nombre to the game’s roster. Although the developers have already revealed the return of the Intervention sniper rifle and Gunfight to Season 3, it’s still currently unclear how players can obtain these skins since they are yet to provide specific details on the additional contents of the next update.

Based on previous seasons, though, these new cosmetics can most likely be acquired by purchasing a bundle through the in-game store. Alternatively, they could also be rewards for completing a specific set of objectives or a prize by progressing through the battle pass. But, as always, it’s important to keep in mind that this is only speculation for now as the developers may have an entirely different plan in mind.

The details on how their story is set to continue has also not been provided yet, but many are theorizing that it could be added as a new Raid chapter. Since the first two episodes saw most of Red Team 141 undertaking dangerous missions, Infinity Ward could now possibly put Alejandro and Valeria in the limelight with their very own installment.

With the MW2 campaign story now being continued and a bevy of other features, such as the anti-cheat cloaking system, already being included, CoD players have plenty to look forward to in the next few weeks.
