It’s happening! Madden 23 Ultimate Team (MUT) revealed its biggest announcement of the season yesterday, March 8, presenting fans with none other than its highly anticipated Team Of The Year (TOTY). The TOTY special live stream took place at 7PM ET, beholding one remarkable set of NFL stars that performed well-above expectations throughout the 2022 season.

Nearly three weeks ago, Madden 23 presented a total of 98 TOTY Nominees and allowed the fans to vote on who they felt should be on this special team honor. Following the close of the voting period, Madden 23 took the time and diligence to count the votes and determine which players made the TOTY.

Fast forward to last night, and Madden 23 Ultimate Team has returned with its TOTY Winners, producing what are arguably the best cards to have in the game. Down below we’ve taken the time to detail the full TOTY Winners, the TOTY Honorable Mentions, the entire list of nominees, and our very own prediction of who we thought would qualify for the highly-coveted Madden 23 Team Of The Year.

With the in-game release now live today, March 9, we present you the Madden 23 TOTY, its nominees, and our expert prediction.

Madden 23 TOTY – The Winners

In this section, we cover the full list of TOTY Winners that made the final cut for this special Madden 23 team honor. On top of the TOTY players, Madden 23 also included a Most Valuable Virtual Player, which is the NFL star that received the most votes during the TOTY voting period.

Before diving into this exciting new release, there are some important details to keep in mind. One of the biggest details to make note of is that the TOTY Program comes with 40 Challenges, which allows fans to secure a 98 Overall Account Bound (BND) TOTY Fantasy Pack along with increments of 2,000 MUT Coin.

In addition, if you collected all 17 TOTY Tokens from completing the Team Of The Week (TOTW) Program Challenges during the 2022 NFL regular season, you can place them in a TOTY Collectible Exchange set to secure another 98 Overall TOTY Fantasy Pack containing your choice between 1 of 3 random TOTY Winners or Honorable Mentions.

Madden 23 TOTY – Player Nominees

As mentioned above, there were a total of 98 Nominees for the TOTY in Madden 23 Ultimate Team. In order to vote for the players, fans had to visit Madden 23’s TOTY Voting Countdown Page where each person had the opportunity to submit one set of TOTY votes per category.

There was a five day window for the TOTY Voting Period, that began on February 17, and ran until February 22. With the voting period over, Madden 23 Ultimate Team processed the votes and revealed the TOTY today, March 8, before its released in-game tomorrow, March 9.
